Vicar: Revd Marcus Green

Marcus has been vicar of St Catherine's since September 2000. Educated at both Oxford and Cambridge, he has previously worked at St Aldate's Oxford, the parish of Glyncorrwg, and at St Michael's Aberystwyth. He also serves as a seasonal chaplain with the Intercontinental Church Society, which involves him running a small church in the Swiss Alps for two weeks most years, and is chaplain to the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and Society. Marcus' first book, Salvation's Song, is published by Survivor books, and reflects his passion for worship and for a biblical understanding of Christian faith.

Pastoral Visitor: Revd Gill Tuck

Gill has been Pastoral Visitor at St Catherine's since Easter 2007. Before retirement she was Priest-in-Charge of St Matthew's Pontypridd, and before that was curate in our own parish! Prior to being ordained she worked as a midwife, a role that many in the area remember with gratitude. She brings with her a wealth of pastoral experience and wisdom, and heads up our Lay Visiting Team.

Children's Worker: Kirsty Jones


Kirsty has been a member of St Catherine's since 2003 and started as our children's worker in September 2007. A professional violinist, she is married to Dan and mother of Flo and brings a wide array of gifts to the post as well as unlimited enthusiasm.
